Getting Here
We are located in the northwest corner of Connecticut, which means we have New York and Massachusetts on either side of us—making us in a convenient location to major cities and popular areas like The Berkshires. However, we are still in a small town/rural area and there are a few things to keep in mind when it comes to getting here:
There are no Ubers or Lyfts, or local transportation—getting around without a car of your own will need to be scheduled with one of our recommended local car services.
The nearest train station is the Wassaic Station in Wassaic, NY which is located about 20 minutes from the inn. While sometimes there are taxis waiting there, we recommended booking a car service to get to and from the station.
Most commonly, people fly in to the Hartford Bradley Airport or New York City Airports. While getting a ride here will be easy, booking your ride back to the airport ahead of time is crucial, especially for the busy summer months.
Pre-Arrival
On the day of your arrival, you will receive a message from a service we use called Canary. With Canary, you can complete your check-in process ahead of time, write a message to our front desk staff, and request early check-in or late-checkout! This service is completely safe & secure to use- it simply makes your check-in easier.
You will also receive a message to download the OpenKey app, which allows you to access your room key from your phone! We strongly recommend this so you don't have to worry about keeping track of a key card during your stay. Plus, this helps in our efforts of being a sustainable hotel as the less keys that get misplaced, the less we have to produce! Your key will be activated by our front desk staff upon arrival.
The Fitness Center hosts daily classes from spin to weights with Studio Lakeville. If you would like to attend a class during your stay, please sign up here!

What to Bring
Our rooms come with all of the toiletries you need plus a coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, a makeup mirror, and a hangers in the closet. However, there are a few suggestions of things to bring with you:
As a sustainable hotel, we do not hand out plastic water bottles, so bring your reusable water bottles! We have water machines all over property from Clear Water of New England that produce cold & hot filtered water.
We have pool towels in the pool area for guest use and prefer guests grab those to bring down to the lake. On busy summer days, towels tend to go quickly, so it may not hurt to bring a few extra towels!
While You're Here
It is important to note that housekeeping services are only completed upon request. If you would like your room cleaned or towels replaced during your stay, please schedule services with the front desk.
The Screening Room plays two movies per day, around 4pm & 8pm depending on our in-house events. The 4pm movie is always something family-friendly while the 8pm is more for adults!
All of our outdoor recreation amenities are first come, first serve and we have equipment available to borrow at the front desk.
