We had the best wedding ever and can't say enough about the interlaken. Whether our guests stayed over or went home..all were thrilled with the surroundings, the entertainment, the service, the food, the works. Andrew sky and I are still blown away by it all. Stephanie went above and beyond the call of duty at all times. Even with my detailed requests, she made everything picture perfect and with a smile. Brandon too was super and the food amazing. Thanks again for everything. We are already planning every anniversary with a stay!!

We held my daughter's wedding for 150 guests at the Interlaken Inn on 8/18/12. We picked the Interlaken as a "mini destination" spot in the middle of the winter based on the charm of the place and the ability to have the ceremony on the edge of the lake. Since we didn't know of anyone that had been to the Interlaken, we booked the place on good faith that it would be beautiful in the summer and that all would turn out fine. And we were pleasantly surprised as everything turned out better than we expected! The grounds at the Interlaken were gorgeous in the summer with great landscaping and pretty flowers. The food and service were terrific. The guestrooms were clean and comfortable. Our guests had a lot of fun all weekend long as there is a lot to do without ever leaving the grounds of the Interlaken. We started with a bonfire on Friday night and then moved on to fishing, boating, kayaking, tennis, local tours, the pool and various other activities. The wedding ceremony and reception were fantastic. The staff - especially Stephanie (wedding coordinator) and Brandon (executive chef) - was very accommodating and focused on all of the details of our affair. They were extremely flexible and tailored the food, beverages and logistics to our liking and without any additional or hidden charges. The original price we agreed on was the price we paid. The wedding was a huge success and I whole heartedly recommend the Interlaken!

Thank you so much for everything. We must have said this to you a million times, but everything was perfect, and much better than we had hoped for. The memories (and pictures) will last a lifetime. Things are still a bit busy with Karen's family visiting (they're leaving tomorrow), but it'll be nice to sit back on reflect on everything once we're back to life as usual.
I'm sure Karen and I will visit Interlaken very soon. It's a very special place for us:)

A very special thank you to all the Interlaken staff from our family. Our daughter Carey envisioned a family event that allowed for flexibility as well having all of the traditional wedding pieces. Interlaken pulled it off spectacularly!
The food was scrumptious only surpassed by the patience and skills of the waitstaff, hotel staff and of course Stephanie and Brandon. You blended the casual and the formal without missing a beat! You gave us the freedom to change some of the events to meet our needs. And of course Stephanie guided us through the day without being pushy.
Over the weekend we had bonfires, barbecues, and breakfasts that went like clockwork. Of course the reception dinner was superb. Our guests kept giving us praise on the site, service and food. Of course it was Interlaken who did it all.
One of our guests commented that this was the second best wedding they had ever attended. Their wedding was first of course!

Two weeks after Tim and Courtney's wedding we are still on Cloud Nine! It was just what they wanted and your helpfulness and knowledge did much to make it turn out well. They sensed ahead of time that you would be the one they wanted to work with throughout the process, and they were so right. Your willingness to get us whatever it was we wanted took a lot of pressure off and we all appreciated it. And most of all, your attentiveness to us once we were there was comforting and calming.
The Interlaken Inn was a wonderful place for our families to come together for these two dear young people. It was a special moment in the life of our family.

I just got your message and wanted to tell you what an amazing job you and your staff did! Our waitress during the night was outstanding, and every single guest raved about the food, the setting, the rooms, etc. It was by far the most fun and beautiful wedding any of us had ever been to.
I'll forward some pics to you ASAP - wait until you see them! I am so thrilled that I get to cherish the memory of my wedding weekend as everything I have ever dreamed of ... and for someone who has planned her wedding since she was 10, that's saying a lot!

Just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for all you did to make our day perfect! Everyone (but most of all us) had a fantastic time starting at the rehearsal dinner and right through to the brunch. It has been over 6 months since our wedding at The Interlaken Inn, but if it is still OK for us to be receiving wedding gifts at this late date, then it is still OK to write to you the letter that we have been meaning to write to you for the last 6 months.
Though words, belated words at that, can’t express our gratitude to you for helping to create the most wonderful experience of our lives, we’re going to give it a try.
Brandon, from the moment we met you we knew that you were the person we wanted to guide our wedding process. We had heard other people’s stories of great wedding planners, terrible wedding planners, and average wedding planners. We had concocted thoughts of what our relationship with “our wedding planner” would be like and how we would relate to him/her. We weren’t sure we would ever be that comfortable with the “wedding planner”. As you noticed, we both have slight control issues that you can chalk up to our careers as a Producer and an Assistant Principal. But with you, it was easy and perfect.
What we found in you was a friend, an advisor, and a maestro of epic proportions. You helped lead logistical situations with a calming hand. You helped navigate emotional situations with a lovely grace. And you helped create the most unforgettable celebration of our love and partnership in a way that felt so exactly “us”. It was as though you had known us for years and you were using personal knowledge of our relationship in order to put things into place that felt unique and special to us.
Brandon, we will never ever forget our experience at The Interlaken Inn, nor will we ever forget you and everything you did to make our wedding so truly special. And what is also amazing, is because of you, your staff, and the talent and skillful ways that you do your job, 165 guests that celebrated our wedding at Interlaken will never forget their experience either.

“A spectacular place for a wedding!”
We have just returned from our daughter's wedding at the Interlaken Inn, and what a memorable weekend it was! The wedding site by the lake is stunning, absolutely picture perfect; and the reception venue is also lovely. Each dinner selection was equally delicious which is rarely the case at such a large event. Everything was perfect thanks in no small part to the outstanding effort of Brandon Scimeca, the Interlaken's wedding coordinator. He thought of everything before we did, handled every little detail with such ease, and was always there through all the months of planning as well as the event weekend to handle any problem in his calm and reassuring manner. He was amazing!
We stayed in one of the very well appointed townhouse suites with a lovely view of the garden area. It was very bright, clean and spacious with all the necessary amenities. The grounds are beautiful although we did not have much free time to enjoy and explore. Other guests were very pleased with the tennis courts and pool. We hope to return again just to relax and enjoy the resort!
We apologize for how long it has taken us to thank you for all of your hard work in helping us with our wedding over Columbus Day weekend.
As you know, we hadn't originally planned to have our wedding in Connecticut, and booked at the Interlaken after we had to make a relatively last minute change in our wedding plans. Looking back, we feel so lucky that we were able to book the Interlaken and that we were able to work with you. You were incredibly helpful throughout the planning process as well as during the wedding itself. During the planning, you helped us think through every detail, and on our wedding day, you helped us to relax as everything fell into place. Everything turned out perfectly from the food, to the ceremony arrangements, to the weather!
As we were planning our wedding, what we wanted more than anything was to find ways to bring our friends and family together in a way that would allow everyone, from the toddlers to the grandparents, to relax and celebrate. The Interlaken was perfect! Those who wanted to sit outside and enjoy the glorious New England weather found plenty of places to do so and those who wanted to run around in the game room playing ping pong and air hockey also had a great time! We really couldn't have asked for anything more.
We really cannot recommend the Interlaken highly enough. Please do not hesitate to provide us as references to anyone interested in booking an event at the Interlaken.

I just wanted to thank you once again for a wonderful wedding weekend. It was so well planned and your attention to every detail made it happen so smoothly (I know you can't control the weather). Even the rain drops didn't dampen anyone's mood. Jocelyn and Julian were so happy with the way that everything happened and that is just what Jim and I desired.

Well here it is a week later and the weekend forecast is for a Hurricane - it is all relative - I would take last weeks weather over this weeks any time!!!!!! I must say we were very lucky that the sun came out on Sat. and we were able to have it by the lake - I really can't thank you and everyone else who made it happen.
Just thought you might like to know that everyone thought the food was the best they ever had at a wedding - honestly it was better than the tasting. The food the whole weekend was great - the sat. Continental breakfast was lovely - presentation was perfect!!!!! Morgan's was delicious and if this is all your doing you are one amazing Chef!!!
One of our friends thought it was the best destination wedding they had been to - I think coming inside on Friday was very cozy and the mingling was great - it set up relations for the whole weekend! Everyone thought the weekend ran SOOOOOOOO smoothly without a HITCH!!!! That is when you know someone is great - like I told you or Kevin - said it to someone!!! No one knew we weren't supposed to have a tent!!!!!!!!! etc. etc.
I guess that is enough rambling - it is all part of my separating from the weekend after a summer of non stop planning - hard to believe I go back to work next week.
