The Salisbury School was founded in 1901 as an independent college preparatory school for boys.

Resting atop a hill and surrounded by 725 acres of pastoral landscape, Salisbury School fosters long-lasting ties of friendship, healthy competition and the enjoyment of life. Its mission has been to educate and inspire within each young man an enthusiasm for learning and self-confidence for intellectual, spiritual, physical and moral development.

Currently, the Salisbury School draws students from 31 states and 11 foreign countries.

Salisbury School is just minutes from Interlaken Inn. Turn right out of our parking lot, go 1/4 mile to Route 41. Turn left on Route 41 and follow it through the towns of Lakeville, CT and Salisbury CT. Just past the center of Salisbury, bear right to stay on Route 44. The Salisbury School will be about 4 miles on the right.
