Since 1969, when Kurt Goldman and Diana Hanbury King founded the school, Kildonan has been a leader in the world of educating students with dyslexia. By providing daily one-to-one Orton-Gillingham tutoring and small, multi-sensory classroom instruction to boys and girls grades 2-12, we can provide the educational opportunities that have been missing in so many students’ lives.

While the main focus has always been to provide the best possible academic instruction, we will continue to balance academics with programs like community service and comprehensive athletic offerings to foster self esteem.

Kildonan School is just 20 minutes from the Interlaken Inn. Turn right out of our parking lot, go 1/4 mile and turn right on to Route 41 South. At the Sharon Clock Tower turn right on to Route 343. Follow Route 343 to the stoplight in Amenia. Turn right onto 22 North. Follow 22 North for one mile. Turn left onto Perry’s Corner Road. Follow Perry’s Corner Road for one mile to a stop sign. Turn Left onto Morse Hill Road. Admissions Office is first driveway on right, Main Office is second driveway on right.
