"Kale pretending to be Seaweed". How cute is that?
If you are a blog reader than you know I am a big fan of kale, so kale doesn't have to pretend to be anything but kale to be highly rated in my book! But in the appetizer dish of "Sashimi of King Salmon, White Soy, Lime Pickled Cucumber, Kale Pretending To Be Seaweed" kale can pretend to be seaweed at any time. This lovely Heirloom Red Russian variety comes straight to us from Chubby Bunny Farm in Falls Village, CT. This kale is also used in my most favorite appetizer in Morgan's and that is the Local Honeycrisp Apple and Heirloom Kale Salad, Pecorino Vinaigrette, Black Olive Crunch. Welcome into our Atrium building in a new way! Previous to this renovation there was one door that led into our Atrium building that is home to the Atrium wedding/conference room, ELLORA Spa and Sanctuary, fitness room, the gameroom and library. That is one small door for the entrance to alot of things! So, another door and foyer area was built on the right that leads you directly into the Atrium area. Wedding guests - this is your door! If you have services at ELLORA Spa or would like to just visit her gift shop then choose the door on the left. Here's our new look from start to finish!

Bed, Bath and Beyond & Celebrity Chef, Fabio Viviani

Last Wednesday I had the pleasure of working with employees of one of my favorite stores to shop in, Bed, Bath and Beyond! We hosted the vendor showcase in our beautiful Garden Pavilion where products were featured from Dyson, Kitchen Aid, and Calphalon. The highlight of the vendor showcase was a demonstration presented by Chef Fabio Viviani using Bialetti Aeternum ceramic cookware. Not only was Chef Viviani engaging and humorous but this line of cookware which he endorses is incredible and it can only be found at Bed, Bath and Beyond! After the demonstration the group enjoyed our Backyard BBQ on the lawn and each received a sample of the Bialetti cookware.
After a morning of demonstrations, followed by lunch, the group divided up into teams and we facilitated Interlaken’s Radical Race as their team building activity. All 80 people set off across our 30 acres for two hours of tasks such as a blind wine tasting, a culinary activity, the Helium Stick activity and of course the “Human Knot”.
All in all it was another example of Interlaken’s versatility and ability to suit many different corporate needs.
Meet 'n' Greet Lakeside!
I promise not to blog every week about our Meet 'n' Greet that happens every Wednesdsay from 5pm for our Guests as well as local businesses, but this week was super fun as we held it Lakeside! I mean, who doesn't want to stand next to sparkling water with a tasty cocktail and yummy hdo's in hand and meet other nice people? Another great turn-out, thank you!
